History of Newfypoo

The purpose of crossing these two breeds is to decrease the shedding of the larger Newfoundland dog breed. This hybrid is currently recognized by the IDCR (International Designer Canine Registry) and can also be registered with the ICA as long as both parents are purebreds.

Newfoundland

The Newfoundland dog is a large working dog origin from Canada. They are known for their giant size, intelligence, tremendous strength, calm dispositions, and loyalty. Newfypoos are big dogs that are considered heavy eaters. You can give your dog anywhere from 4½ to 6 cups of  high-quality canine dry food, divided into several feeding sessions each day.

Diet Plan for 6-month puppy: – You need to feed your Newfypoo puppy 3 times a day between 8 to 12 weeks. After 3 months, reduce the meal to 3 times a day until 6 months.
