The Siberian Husky is a large size working dog breed that originated in Northeast Asia. It is an active, energetic, resilient breed, whose ancestors lived in the extremely cold and harsh environment of the Siberian Arctic. It has a double coat of medium length, with a soft, dense undercoat and a straight, somewhat flat-lying outer coat. Siberians are known for their powerful but seemingly effortless gait. The Siberians innate friendliness render them indifferent watchdogs.
