Hope for Paws is a 501 C-3 .non-profit animal rescue organization based in Los Angeles, California. Founded by Eldad and Audrey Hagar, this all-animal rescue organization rescues animals facing death or danger through abuse or abandonment. Since 2008, Eldad and Audrey have been running this two-person nonprofit animal-rescue organization full-time.

The organization was started in the name of an Italian Greyhound named Lily, who was used in a puppy mill, and the founders saw the horrors that can happen at a place like that, so they decided to start saving puppy mill dogs.

The Sarge animal rescue foundation is a 501( c )(3) nonprofit that rescues homeless cats and dogs in Haywood County and places them in permanent and loving homes. Since the Haywood County Animal Shelter has to take in so many unwanted or lost pets, they are frequently filled and must euthanize those that have been there longer to make room for more.
