The Norwegian Lundehund is a small dog breed of the Spitz type that originates from Norway. The breed was originally developed for the hunting of puffins and their eggs. Their dense coat ranges from fallow to reddish brown to tan in color, with black hair tips and white markings, or white with red or dark markings. Lundehund is very sensitive. They are incredibly clever and fun-loving, making them delightful and sometimes challenging. This small Spitz breed is alert, energetic, loyal and protective. He is generally outgoing and happy-go-lucky, but he tends to be wary of strangers. He’s usually a good playmate for older, active children.
